How Does Your Goddess Grow? is a unique, hand-on doll-making workshop designed to facilitate ”Spiritual Experiences through Creative Expression”.
Led by Detroit artists/entreprenuers Sumarah Yaa and Evelyn Pinkard, HDYGG? Workshops…
· Create and maintain a safe, sacred atmosphere for fun, leisurely art making
· Encourage individuals, families, and communities to explore their inherent creativity and spirituality
· Provide a non-competitive, supportive environment within which to relax, dialogue, renew
· Allow each participant to express her personal growth and inner journey with visual power, focus, and insight
You are invited to book a How Does Your Goddess Grow? event for yourself and a group of “sistafriends” or as a party activity for little girls, tween, or teen youth. We add a special touch to bridal showers, baby blessings, wedding parties, rites of passage, and other milestones…even FUNdraisers!!
Sumarah Yaa Karen Smith with over 30 years experience in the visual, musical, and dramatic arts. She is especially popular as a performance storyteller, founder of The Art of Folktales, which provides "Interactive story arts experiences for listeners of all ages". How Does Your Goddess Grow? is her newest project, growing girls & women into truer expressions of themselves through doll-making and other art activities.
